My wife and I have been buyers and sellers of real estate for over 40 years and very rarely hire an agent. Most of the time agents lack knowledge and almost never employ any negotiating skills. They are for the most part “order takers”. That said we recently worked with Monica Gonzales at Graceland Real Estate to locate a property in Waco, Texas. Monica was the only agent that answered our very first call on a Saturday afternoon and immediately went to work on a potential property that eventually was placed in escrow and fell out of escrow following the home inspection. She not only continued to look for a suitable property but helped us understand the buying process in Texas which, as out of it own buyers, we were not familiar with. Monica found a second prospective home and in short time we placed it in escrow.
